I have been a long jump coach with The San Fernando Valley Youth Conference for the past 17 seasons and have coached hundreds of kids. A few have gone on to distinguish themselves as outstanding student/athletes in college, and as human beings. I am enormously proud of them. Some may have more talent and potential, but I admittedly gravitate to the ones who consistently demonstrate dedication, drive and a strong work ethic. Here are pictures of some of the more notable.
